Margaret Turner

Research Associate

Margaret is a Masters in Public Administration and Masters in Social Work candidate at the USC Price School of Public Policy and Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Los Angeles in 2018. Margaret has various internship and full-time employment experiences including case management with high school-aged youth and crisis advocacy at the National Domestic Violence Hotline; and currently holds a policy fellowship with the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Military and Veteran Affairs. Her career interests include social policy development and analysis (specifically in domestic violence prevention), and service work within local, state, and federal government. In her free time, Margaret enjoys cooking, hikes outside with her rescue dog, singing and playing the mandolin, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.
