Our cybersecurity workshops, sponsored by the DoD Office of Economic Adjustment, focus on how manufacturers can be compliant and cyber ready for the future. The workshops are led by Dr. Clifford Neuman, a renowned cybersecurity expert and director of USC’s Center for Computer Systems Security.  Additional cybersecurity resources can be found here.

Each event is hosted by the AMP SoCal Strengthening Competitiveness Program, which is funded under a sub-award with the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, with financial support from the Office of Economic Adjustment, Department of Defense.

Meeting DoD’s new CMMC requirement

June 25th, 2020

Our one-day Cybersecurity Training event on June 25th helps defense suppliers meet DoD’s new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirement and provides a thorough look at the new cyber standard. Focusing on the small and micro defense contractors, the workshop also covers the preparation for your C3PAO audit.

This workshop was developed and led by Dr. Clifford Neuman, Director, USC Center for Computer Systems Security.

Protecting Sensitive Unclassified Information

This workshop will explain DoD cybersecurity requirements listed in NIST 800-171 so you walk away with an understanding of how to make your company compliant.

This workshop is led by Dr. Clifford Neuman, Director, USC Center for Computer Systems Security along with special guests, Paul Shaw, Professor of Cybersecurity, Defense Acquisition University, Department of Defense, Chris Buthe, Manager, California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) Cyber Physical Security Services, and Ernie Edmonds, CMTC Cyber Expert.
