On the 5th Manufacturing Day (October 7, 2016), the Nation will celebrate the vitality and reality of American manufacturing to youth and workers across the country….. This year, we can do even more—that is why, today, the Administration is launching an effort to inspire the next generation of manufacturers and support entrepreneurs manufacturing their first product in the United States.” 

To support this Call to Action, this presentation will be dedicated to the entrepreneurs and manufacturing-based startups. It will be divided into two parts: 

Part 1 will concentrate on the strategies and best practices which startups and entrepreneurs should adapt to develop a Product/Market Fit - an essential element for venture success. 

Part 2 will introduce the U.S. Government supported, public-private National Network for Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (NNMIs) to the startup community. In addition, we will explain the best practices to leverage these national assets to develop the manufacturing-based ventures.
