Research That Tells a Story
The USC Center for Economic Development, an applied research center at the Sol Price School of Public Policy, is exploring numerous areas affecting the aerospace and defense industry within Southern California. Using a comprehensive wealth of data and information – demographic, socio-economic, supply chain, and defense funding – a series of interactive maps have been created to allow people to view the economic geography in a uniquely engaging and dynamic way. Through the visual display of information, a narrative of the aerospace and defense ecosystem is conveyed, and its multi-layered impact on Southern California is brought into clear focus.
