EDA celebrated its 50th anniversary at the 2016 national conference in Washington, DC. Deepak Bahl, Program Director and Co-Principal Investigator for AMP SoCal and the USC Center for Economic Development, moderated a manufacturing panel at this national conference titled: Collaboration Junction, What’s your Function? Partnerships that Drive Results in Advanced Manufacturing. The panelist included representatives from six IMCP Round I and Round II communities from across the nation. The presentations focused on the unique role and contribution of IMCPs in their respective regions from developing workforce strategies to strengthening the supply chain. The panelists shared best practices and practical advice on how to build a strong manufacturing ecosystem.
