True to its name as the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership for Southern California, AMP SoCal is made up of a growing network of organizations in both public and private sectors, across government, academia and industry, that partner together for the benefit of the aerospace and defense manufacturing economy.

Partnership Categories

  • Community & Economic Development – These partners focus on expanding economic opportunity through a number of business-focused programs such as policy advocacy, industry events and mixers, and assistance with state tax credit programs or infrastructure and site-related services.
  • Government – These partners control land use and permitting decisions that affect the A&D industry and have joined AMP SoCal to better serve their manufacturers.
  • Industry – These partners include manufacturers, members of the A&D supply chain, and professional associations.
  • Research – These partners – universities, laboratories, incubators, and accelerators – are supporting the A&D industry through research and training or access to prototyping facilities or start-up assistance.
  • Workforce & Training – These partners are helping to grow the A&D workforce by improving training resources and expanding the pipeline of skilled workers.
