2018 Space-System Additive Manufacturing Workshop (SSAM)

This structured workshop will leverage community knowledge to collaborate on comprehensive additive manufacturing guidelines. This activity is developing a comprehensive set of guidance for additive manufacturing use in the space industry. The following working groups will leverage that information and focus on recognized knowledge gaps. 

  • Working Group 1: Qualifications of AM Parts
  • Working Group 2: AM Outsourcing
  • Working Group 3: Defect Detection
  • Working Group 4: Production Life Cycle

Nov. 7 (afternoon) - Optional tour of the Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Labs

Two additive manufacturing events have been scheduled on Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 to enhance innovation and collaboration.  Manufacturing Problem Prevention Program (MP3) technical workshop will take place on Nov. 6 and the Space-System Additive Manufacturing Workshop will take place on Nov. 7.
