This course is designed for engineers who are interested in utilizing metal AM to learn the power of DMLS metal 3D printing. The goal of the course is for attendees to learn how to design parts around the capabilities and limitations of the DMLS process. Cost analysis, part tolerance, surface finish, post-processing, and material options will be explored. An overview of the state of additive manufacturing and its impact on industry will also be discussed. The class will include continental breakfast, coffee and lunch catered at CAM, and attendees will receive condensed DMLS design information and a free test part.
